We wanted to gather all the information about all the places musicians and songwriters can be honored. Below is a list of various Hall of Fame groups. We left out a few, international or pop, because we wanted to pay homage to the Halls that cater to Country Music.
Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame
Located in Birmingham, Alabama
This art-deco museum honors great jazz artists with ties to the state of Alabama. While furnishing educational information, the museum is also a place for entertainment. Exhibits convey the accomplishments of the likes of Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton and Erskine Hawkins and the music that made them famous. Within this fine musical collection, visitors travel from the beginnings of boogie woogie with Clarence "Pinetop" Smith to the jazz space journeys of Sun Ra and his Intergalactic Space Arkestra.

Alabama Music Hall of Fame
Located in Tuscumbia, Alabama
The Alabama Music Hall of Fame was a dream and goal of the Muscle Shoals Music Association, a Shoals-area based professional organization of producers, musicians, songwriters, recording studio owners and other music professionals. In 1980, the Muscle Shoals Music Association and the state Legislature, under the leadership of state Sen. Bobby Denton, created the Alabama Music Hall of Fame Board with a mandate to honor Alabama’s great music achievers and to build a facility in which to showcase these talented individuals and their accomplishments.

Blues Music Hall of Fame
Located in Memphis, Tennessee
Opened in May of 2015, the Blues Hall of Fame Museum is a Memphis gem for both serious blues fans and casual visitors. With robust exhibits and in-depth history, the museum exposes, educates, and entertains visitors with all that is blues culture while highlighting our over 400 inductees in five key categories: Performer, Individual, Album, Single, and Literature.

Colorado Music Hall of Fame
Located in Morrison, Colorado
The Colorado Music Hall of Fame is a museum located in the Trading Post at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The Colorado Music Hall of Fame inducted its first honorees in 2011, with songwriter John Denver and the Red Rocks Amphitheater as its first honorees. Memorabilia includes the John Denver "Spirit" statue, donated by the Windstar Foundation. Executive director G. Brown, a music writer, critic and radio personality, was succeeded in early 2018 by musician Chris Daniels.

Georgia Music Hall of Fame
Located in Macon, Georgia
The Georgia Music Hall of Fame, the state’s official music museum, was located in Macon, the city where artists like Little Richard, James Brown, Otis Redding and the Allman Brothers Band launched their careers. The 43,000 square foot facility featured permanent and changing exhibits that include music, video, memorabilia, instruments, performance costumes and more. Over 450 artists are represented in the exhibits.

Gospel Music Hall of Fame
The GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a not-for-profit educational institution (501c3) working in connection with the Gospel Music Association (GMA). The GMAF is dedicated to fostering an appreciation of the historical development of gospel music and its impact on our culture by collecting, preserving, exhibiting and interpreting its collections for a global audience, as well as honoring those who have made outstanding contributions to gospel music.

Grammy Hall of Fame
The GRAMMY Hall Of Fame was established by the Recording Academy's National Trustees in 1973 to honor recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old. Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame
Mississippians have succeeded in classical, jazz, blues, country, gospel, contemporary and rock and roll. Mississippi is the birthplace of the blues, country music, and rock & roll. All other forms of popular music came from those roots. Mississippi must have a mechanism to show its appreciation to the many native sons and daughters for their musical success. The Musicians Hall of Fame is a premiere Nashville attraction and the one and only museum in the world that honors the talented musicians who actually played on the greatest recordings of all time. Some like Jimi Hendrix are well known, while others like L.A session drummer Hal Blaine are not as well known to the public, but have played on hundreds of hit records from Elvis, Frank and Nancy Sinatra,The Byrds, The Mamas and The Papas and The Beach Boys, just to name a very few. Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame
Located in Nashville, Tennessee
Induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame (NaSHOF) is one of the nation’s highest songwriting achievements. Since 1970, the hall has enshrined some of the greatest writers ever to put words to music in Music City. Operated by the non-profit Nashville Songwriters Foundation, the Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring Nashville’s rich songwriting legacy through preservation, celebration and education.

Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame
Located in Muskogee, Oklahoma
Oklahomans have always had a rich and profound impact on the world’s music culture. In 1995, recognizing the need to educate the public about the influence Oklahomans have in the music industry, the vision for the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame was born.
This effort was assisted in 1996 by the Oklahoma State Legislature’s passage of a concurrent resolution, authored by Representative Barbara Staggs and Senator Ben Robinson, which designated Muskogee as the site of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. Representative Bill Settle continued to champion the cause by securing legislative appropriations that served to further promote the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Concert at the Muskogee Civic Assembly Center.
On an annual basis since 1997, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame has been honoring the world’s most notable talents whose gifts and musical styles are as breathtaking and diverse as the Oklahoma landscape. Friends of Oklahoma Music championed this cause throughout Oklahoma, enlisting the business and industrial communities, higher education institutions, and local and state governments for support and embraced the concept of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.

Oregon Music Hall of Fame
The Oregon Music Hall of Fame honors Oregonians who have made outstanding contributions to, or significant impact on the evolution, development, and perpetuation of the music industry. These contributions can be on a national, regional, or local level. Nominees must have been born in Oregon, or have lived or operated in Oregon sometime during their lifetime.

Rockabilly Hall of Fame
Located in Nashville, Tennessee
The Rockabilly Hall of Fame is an organization and website launched on March 21, 1997 to present early rock and roll history and information relating to the artists and personalities involved in rockabilly. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, the first induction certificate was issued on November 16, 1997, for singer Gene Vincent. The creation of Bob Timmers, the not-for-profit entity maintains a website that is supported in part by the fans and artists of the music it represents. The site has a UK representative (Rod Pyke) and Canadian representative (Johnny Vallis). Over 5,000 "legends" are listed on the web site, and about 400 have been "inducted". Inductions are restricted to artists with notable performances prior to (and including) 1962. The web site features news updates, artist profile pages, performer tribute pages, videos, photos, and feature columns. Among honorees are pioneer singers, songwriters, disc jockeys, and promoters/producers such as Sun Records owner Sam Phillips.

The Songwriters Hall of Fame’s ongoing mission is to preserve, honor and celebrate the legacy of the great songwriters whose work has enriched the world’s culture, while developing new writing talent through professional education, Master Sessions, workshops, showcases, scholarships and digital initiatives.

Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame
Located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
Established in 1994, the Southern Gospel Music Association (SGMA) is a professional preservation association of artists, songwriters, industry workers and fans founded to preserve, protect and promote Southern Gospel Music, its history and heritage. The SGMA is a private, non-profit corporation with a board of directors selected from artists, industry participants and others, whose job is to oversee the activities of the business and make sure the organization’s stated purpose is fulfilled. The day-to-day affairs are managed by the executive director.
Southern gospel music has enjoyed a long and colorful history, with many talented individuals and dedicated professionals whose efforts helped create a unique sound of harmonious melodies and uplifting words. The genre’s artists, both past and present, provide entertainment to millions of people, with a central message built around biblical truths and spiritual values.

Texas Country Music Hall of Fame
Located in Carthage, Texas
TCMHoF was initiated in 1998 to celebrate the contributions of Texans to the country music profession. The project highlights those individuals, living or dead, who are recognized nationally as outstanding in their field. The impressive structure encompasses 13,000 square feet of space for exhibits, a gift shop and a large banquet room. The facility can accommodate groups of 300 for lecture-type seating or more than 200 for catered dinners. With soaring ceilings, state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems and a commercial kitchen, the Hall of Fame provides unparalleled meeting space for local groups needing space for banquets and other activities.

Texas Heritage Songwriters' Association Hall of Fame
Texas’ self-styled culture is unique in ways that are respected and envied around the world. It is incumbent on each generation of Texans to maintain this rich heritage for generations to come. The Southern Legends Entertainment & Performing Arts Hall of Fame
The Southern Legends Association Foundation operates The Southern Legends Entertainment & Performing Arts Hall of Fame. One of our goals is the preservation of Southern Originating Music and it’s Heritage. We honor artists born in the south who helped create and pioneer southern originating music in the 40’s and 50’s. Many of these artist have never been recognized for the music they helped create. We pay tribute to these artists for their contributions to this great music that was created in the south.

Western Music Association Hall of Fame
In August 1988, a group of Western Music performers and fans met in Las Vegas, Nevada to organize an association and present a festival. They incorporated the Western Music Association as an Arizona non-profit corporation in 1989 and the organization has had an annual gathering every November since then. Since its inception, the WMA has expanded to include twelve state and regional chapters, and it’s been among the forces that are responsible for the current popularity of Western Music around the world.
