We have asked friends and searched the internet to compile a mega list of country music festivals from around the United States. You will find music festivals in the genre of: Country, Western, Red Dirt, Texas Country, Folk, Jass, Blues and Alternative. There are a few wild cards like California’s Coachella, or Austin’s SXSW which are not country themed however, we felt their popularity deemed a spot on our list!
SiriusXM has announced that 50 year Grand Ole Opry veteran, Jeannie Seely, will be joining the Willie’s Roadhouse family as an on air personality on Willie Nelson’s exclusive classic country channel. Seely will make her Willie’s Roadhouse debut over Memorial Day weekend. The show will air weekly beginning on Sunday May, 27 from noon to 4 pm ET.

Since ’73, Willie Nelson is to host his 45th annual 4th of July Picnic. There were a few times when the music festival looked like it would not survive to see its 45th birthday. For instance, in 1980, at the Perdenales Country Club, Willie Nelson had announced that this was going to be his last festival. And for the next couple of years, he held his word until the return of the Picnic in 1983-84.
